We're very excited to announce that Ginger has been bred to Dafydd! Dafydd is one of the greats of the past, born in 2007. He is in the pedigrees of several of today's top-winning dogs, and also won a best in show back at a time when it was very uncommon for a Welsh to do that...

We don't keep a traditional waitlist. Instead, we begin accepting applications for each litter when the breeding occurs. We DO NOT place puppies first come first served, and filling out an application does not guarantee that we will have a puppy for you. Our puppies are placed with the family that is right for each of them. If you're interested in staying informed of our plans, please reach out via email and we will add you to our inquiry list. We're always happy to answer questions and talk about Welsh, even if the timing isn't right for a pup.
Our puppies are raised in our home, as members of the family. They grow up adventuring around our property with the big dogs (always closely supervised—the Olympic Peninsula is home to many bald eagles). When it's developmentally appropriate, they are safely introduced to our livestock, and take field trips into town for experience with new sights and sounds. Our puppy raising process uses protocols from Puppy Culture and Avidog, including Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS).
We work hard to get our pups off to the best start in order for them to be happy, healthy, delightful members of your family. We consider our puppies and their families to be a part of our family for their whole life and will always be available for support and advice. In return, we expect that our puppy families will keep us updated and informed for the full life of their pet. This is a relationship that we take very seriously.
